Inclusivity Poem

Dear white collared male,
based on your company’s global scale
you dictate what my body can and cannot do
you take one look at me and think “hmm not you”

You claim my body won’t properly represent your store
Or is it because becoming more inclusive seems like a chore?
I urge you to tell me the truth in this scenario
Is it because I’m disabled or just not a size zero?
All you care about are your investment stocks
but let me remind you that diversity does not fit into a single box
so why does the thought of representing every body
ignite the fear of going bankrupt

You may not know that those with disabilities make up the world’s largest minority
This is a direct result of ableist superiority
When you do the equation that equals 1/5th of the nation’s population
so please, please take us into consideration
